Edexcel BTEC Level 2 Diploma – 60 credits
This 60-credit BTEC Level 2 Diploma develops on the specialist work-related focus from the BTEC Level 2 Extended Certificate.
This qualification will potentially prepare learners for employment in the appropriate vocational sector and is suitable for those who have decided that they wish to enter a particular work sector.
This Diploma is broadly equivalent to four GCSEs and requires committment on the part of the learner.
Learners may wish to develop their knowledge of a particular work sector and therefore study for this qualification can be focused on the learners prefered area of employment. Success at this level can motivate learners to progress to a Level 3 programme. Alternatively, learners may want to extend the specialism they studied on the BTEC Level 2 Certificate or the BTEC Level 2 Extended Certificate programme.
