DAC & Partners Limited strive to provide high quality learning opportunities for all candidates who attend their training courses.  All trainers in the security training department hold PGCE (PCET) or equivalent teaching qualifications and have substantial practical experience in dealing with security and safety in the workplace. All security training offered is SIA compliant and successful candidates can apply for the respective SIA licence.

Courses currently offered include:

Security Operations - for individuals who are seeking appropriate qualifications to obtain an SIA Security Guard licence. This particular security licence authorises the holder to work in the sceurity guarding sector only.

Door Supervision - for individuals who are seeking to obtain an appropriate qualifications to obtain an SIA licence to work as a door supervisor in areas where licensed entertainment is provided.

The course dates are given for guidance only and are interchangeable dependent on demand for course type.  Additional courses will be scheduled when appropriate. Please contact us for confirmation of dates.

                       Proposed Course Dates

CCTV-PSS (Public Space Surveillance) - for individuals who wish to seek employment in CCTV Control Rooms.  These courses are arranged to suit clients needs

Security Vetting Procedures to BS7858:2009 - this is for individuals who are required to undertake security screening of prospective employees and probationary employees.  Dates for this training course are available on request

In addition to the Security Industry focused courses DAC also offers distance learning opportunities with the introduction of Edexcel Level 3 BTEC Nationals in Business to their portfolio of courses.

NVQ - Providing Security Services - DAC, whilst not directly offering this award can guide candidates in England towards this award via Up-Skill Training Solutions.

IOSH - Managing Safely & Working Safely - Both courses are available as stand alone courses or can be added to Security Courses.

All materials required by candidates for successful completion of the course are provided.

DAC Security Training will always carry rigorous pre-registration checks in compliance with Edexcel requirements for Centres.

Any candidate, whether security guard or door supervisor who attends a security course, guarding or doors, offered by DAC and is unsuccessful with either examination will be offered further training free of charge.
