About our courses
DaC continues to offer BTEC Awards in Security Guarding, Door Supervision, CCTV - and Upskilling (for existing Door Supervisors).
These are specialist Level 2 qualifications - upon successful completion the candidates can apply directly to the SIA for their licence.
The new BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Knowledge of Custodial Care is proving popular with those who wish to seek employment in the new super prison being built in Wrexham.
DaC is also approved to deliver the BTEC Level 3 Award for Professional Investigators; this licence will be a requirement for all persons who undertake this role in the future.
DaC provides a guarantee for all security candidates - anyone who does not achieve the BTEC Award at the first attempt is invited to return on a future occasion, at no extra cost.
